Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including warehousing, transportation, and distribution networks
- Implement AI-driven route optimization algorithms to reduce fuel consumption by 15%
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and carrier partners to ensure service level compliance
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and weather-related delays
- Generate executive dashboards tracking KPIs: on-time delivery, cost per mile, and carbon footprint
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- 7+ years progressive experience in transportation/logistics with multimodal expertise
- Advanced proficiency in TMS platforms (Blue Yonder, SAP TM) and IoT tracking systems
- CSCP or CSCP certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs while improving service metrics
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- OSHA Hazmat certification and FMCSA compliance knowledge
