Responsibilities
- Analyze Supply Chain Data: Leverage advanced data analytics to forecast demand, identify bottlenecks, and propose actionable solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and turnover rates, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing holding costs and waste.
- Carrier Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective shipping solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the supply chain and lead cross-functional teams to implement lean methodologies and best practices.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and executive dashboards for leadership, providing visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates and freight spend.
- Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or demand planning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and logistics software (JDA, Manugistics, Blue Yonder).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting complex logistics issues and implementing effective, scalable solutions.
