Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all channels.
- Manage relationships with key carrier partners and vendors to negotiate favorable service level agreements.
- Implement data-driven inventory management strategies to reduce overhead and improve fulfillment speed.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of logistics coordinators and analysts.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and execute corrective action plans.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transport regulations and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to integrate logistics software with existing ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight management.
- Proven expertise in utilizing TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WMS software.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of domestic and international freight shipping regulations.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or professional logistics certification (CLTD/CSCP) preferred.
