Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation strategies for high-volume freight operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing multi-modal shipment plans (rail, truck, air)
- Develop predictive analytics models to optimize routing and reduce fuel consumption
- Negotiate and manage relationships with Tier-1 carriers and 3PL partners
- Oversee compliance with FMCSA regulations and sustainability initiatives
- Drive digital transformation through TMS implementation and IoT integration
- Present executive-level reports on KPIs: on-time delivery, cost per mile, carbon footprint
Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive experience in transportation/logistics management
- Expertise in TMS platforms (Manhattan, Oracle, or SAP preferred)
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or PMP designation required
- Proven track record in carrier contract negotiations and rate optimization
- Advanced proficiency in supply chain analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong background in ESG compliance and green logistics initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
