Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move stock.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and verify orders against client specifications using our WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Ensure all stock is stored according to safety regulations and accessibility standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues immediately to the Team Leader.
- Load & Unload Vehicles: Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, ensuring timely turnaround for our supply chain partners.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, including wearing PPE and participating in regular safety drills.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 25kg), and perform manual labor tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accurate records and ensure order accuracy.
- Reliability: Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic IT Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners or basic computer systems.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends as required by business needs.
