Responsibilities
- Oversee daily fleet operations including dispatch, routing, and driver management
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable transportation solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
- Lead continuous improvement projects using TMS and route optimization software
- Prepare operational reports and KPI dashboards for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in transportation operations management
- Strong proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS)
- Valid CDL Class A license preferred
- Proven ability to manage 50+ vehicle fleets
- Expertise in DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance
- Advanced analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional communication abilities
