Responsibilities
- Design and optimize multi-modal transportation networks (rail, road, air) for cross-continental freight
- Implement AI-powered route optimization reducing delivery times by 15%+ annually
- Manage strategic partnerships with 3PL providers and carriers
- Develop sustainability initiatives lowering carbon footprint by 20% within 18 months
- Lead crisis management protocols for supply chain disruptions
- Analyze transportation KPIs using Power BI to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Oversee compliance with FMCSA and international transport regulations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for warehouse-to-port operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related field
- 5+ years experience in multi-modal logistics with emphasis on intermodal transport
- Proven expertise in TMS platforms (SAP TM, Oracle Transportation Management)
- Strong analytical skills with Power BI or Tableau proficiency
- Certification in CSCP or CTL preferred
- Deep understanding of NAFTA/USMCA customs regulations
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 10+ professionals
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
