Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-modal transportation networks optimizing cost, speed, and reliability
- Implement predictive analytics for demand forecasting and inventory optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in warehouse, procurement, and carrier management
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and risk mitigation
- Drive sustainability initiatives through route optimization and carbon footprint reduction
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service-level agreements
- Oversee implementation of WMS/TMS systems and process automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in 3PL or manufacturing supply chain
- Expertise in SAP/Ariba, Oracle SCM, or equivalent ERP systems
- CPIM or CSCP certification from APICS
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs by 15%+
- Experience managing multi-million dollar transportation budgets
- Strong analytical skills with SQL/Excel proficiency
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
