Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end logistics strategies across rail, truck, and air freight
- Analyze KPIs: On-time delivery, cost per mile, and carrier performance metrics
- Lead cross-functional teams in warehouse automation and route optimization projects
- Negotiate contracts with Tier 1 carriers and manage 3PL partnerships
- Develop crisis response protocols for weather disruptions and supply chain bottlenecks
- Drive ESG initiatives through route electrification and carbon-neutral shipping programs
Qualifications
- 7+ years in 3PL or freight brokerage with multimodal expertise
- Proven track record reducing freight costs by 15%+ annually
- Advanced proficiency in TMS platforms (Blue Yonder, Oracle, or SAP)
- CSCP or CTL certification strongly preferred
- Data analytics skills with SQL and Tableau visualization
- Experience managing teams of 8+ logistics professionals
- OSHA Hazmat certification and FMCSA compliance knowledge
