Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with global business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and distribution operations
- Implement AI-driven inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
- Oversee customs compliance and international trade regulations for EU markets
- Drive sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and circular economy practices
- Establish KPIs for cost reduction, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate strategic partnerships with freight forwarders
- Lead digital transformation projects in ERP and TMS systems implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years progressive experience in international supply chain leadership
- Proven expertise in port logistics, customs clearance, and multimodal transportation
- Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain optimization software
- Experience managing cross-cultural teams across multiple geographies
- Demonstrated success in reducing operational costs while improving service levels
- Fluency in English and Dutch; proficiency in additional European languages a plus
