Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories to optimize costs and enhance supplier performance.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, supplier research, and spend analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, and finance.
- Manage the entire vendor lifecycle, including selection, qualification, performance monitoring, and contract management.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
- Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement roles, preferably within a technology or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or other relevant certifications are a significant plus.
