Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. You will lead a team of buyers and analysts to ensure we source high-quality goods and services at the best possible value.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior buyers and procurement analysts.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across logistics, operations, and finance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and bulk purchasing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing large supplier portfolios.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial reports.
- Valid UK driver’s license is desirable.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP are highly preferred.
