Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to optimize spend and improve service levels across the organization.
- Lead complex negotiations with global suppliers to secure favorable terms, competitive pricing, and robust service level agreements.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential disruptors, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Finance, to streamline procurement workflows and product development.
- Manage end-to-end RFP/RFQ processes with a focus on transparency, compliance, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Implement sustainable sourcing initiatives to align with corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental goals.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement leadership.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar spend categories and delivering significant cost savings.
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise-level ERP and eSourcing platforms.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business insights.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for high-level stakeholder management.
