Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives to secure high-quality materials and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Direct key vendor negotiations, establishing robust Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and favorable commercial terms.
- Analyze commodity market trends, raw material indexes, and geopolitical factors to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Quality Assurance, Finance, and R&D to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for critical suppliers.
- Ensure strict compliance with corporate purchasing policies, environmental standards, and legal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor portfolios exceeding $15M in annual spend.
- Advanced expertise in contract negotiation, commercial law, and vendor dispute resolution.
- Proficiency with leading ERP systems (specifically SAP or Oracle) and supply chain analytics software.
- Industry certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or ASCM (APICS) are highly desirable.
