Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies to optimize spend, mitigate supply risk, and deliver measurable cost savings.
- Lead complex, high-value contract negotiations with domestic and international vendors, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously evaluate and improve vendor performance and compliance.
- Analyze global market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain disruptions to proactively adjust procurement strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, Operations, and Product Development to align purchasing activities with company growth objectives.
- Implement and optimize modern e-procurement systems and digital tools to streamline purchasing workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a highly analytical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or category management.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating multi-million dollar contracts and managing strategic vendor relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel for spend analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a data-driven approach to procurement.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM, CSCP) are highly preferred.
