Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to achieve aggressive cost reduction targets while maintaining premium quality standards.
- Lead complex, high-stakes negotiations for multi-million dollar contracts with both international and domestic suppliers.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging trends, supply chain risks, and diversification opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership in R&D and Engineering to optimize raw material specifications and performance.
- Design and implement robust supplier performance metrics (KPIs) to drive operational excellence and accountability.
- Champion sustainable and ethical sourcing practices in alignment with corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Business; MBA is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated success in delivering significant year-over-year cost savings and process improvements.
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise-level ERP systems.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, including mastery of Excel and business intelligence tools.
- CPSM (Certified Professional in Supplier Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification preferred.
