Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of logistics coordinators and drivers.
- Forecast seasonal demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and optimizing supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits.
