Responsibilities
- Lead the full post-production process for key projects, from initial assembly to final delivery, ensuring creative excellence and technical precision.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to understand project objectives and translate concepts into captivating visual stories.
- Perform advanced editing tasks including cutting, transitions, color correction, sound design, motion graphics integration, and visual effects.
- Maintain strict adherence to brand guidelines, technical specifications, and delivery deadlines across all projects.
- Mentor junior editors, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage and organize project files, assets, and media archives efficiently to ensure smooth workflows.
- Stay current with industry trends, software advancements, and emerging video technologies to continually enhance production quality and efficiency.
- Participate in client reviews, incorporating feedback thoughtfully and effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Digital Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably within an agency, production house, or in-house creative team.
- Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
- Demonstrable experience with color grading tools (e.g., DaVinci Resolve) and advanced sound design principles.
- A strong portfolio or reel showcasing exceptional storytelling, diverse editing styles, and high production value.
- Profound understanding of video codecs, formats, aspect ratios, and delivery specifications for various platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and collaborate effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
