Are you a master of visual storytelling? Lumina Creative Studios is looking for a visionary Senior Video Editor to help shape the future of our high-end digital content. We create cinematic brand experiences for global clients, and we need an expert who lives and breathes post-production excellence.
In this role, you will be a key player in our creative department, transforming raw footage into compelling narratives that drive engagement and leave a lasting impact. You'll work with cutting-edge gear in our downtown LA studio, collaborating closely with producers and motion designers.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form and short-form video content for diverse multi-channel campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts and storyboards.
- Manage end-to-end post-production workflows including color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics integration.
- Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and brand specifications.
- Mentor junior editors and contribute to the refinement of our internal creative processes.
- Optimize assets for platform-specific requirements (Social Media, OTT, Web).
- Effectively manage project timelines and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience at an agency or production house.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated storytelling and visual pacing.
- Deep understanding of color correction, color grading (DaVinci Resolve experience is a plus), and sound design.
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience with motion graphics and 2D animation integration.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
