Responsibilities
- Edit high-impact video content for multi-platform distribution, maintaining brand identity and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with directors, motion graphic designers, and producers to iterate on creative concepts.
- Perform color grading, audio mixing, and sound design to elevate the production value of every project.
- Manage complex project timelines, ensuring delivery under tight production deadlines.
- Develop innovative editing styles that enhance viewer retention and engagement metrics.
- Stay at the forefront of post-production trends, software updates, and emerging storytelling techniques.
- Mentor junior editors and provide constructive feedback during internal creative reviews.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience in a studio or agency environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated storytelling, pacing, and visual style.
- Deep understanding of digital video formats, codecs, and frame rate workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate creative choices to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, or a related creative field.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
