Are you a visual storyteller with a passion for high-end digital content? Lumina Creative Studio is looking for a Senior Video Editor to join our award-winning production team in the heart of Los Angeles. We specialize in cinematic brand storytelling and high-impact social media campaigns.
In this role, you will lead post-production workflows, mentor junior staff, and push the boundaries of what is possible in short-form and long-form video content.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full post-production process from raw footage to final color grading and sound mixing.
- Collaborate with directors and creative leads to define the visual language for diverse client projects.
- Execute complex visual effects and motion graphics to elevate storytelling.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring all deliverables meet strict broadcast and digital standards.
- Mentor junior editing staff and implement efficient, industry-standard file organization protocols.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in video production and social media content strategies.
- Perform quality control on all outgoing video assets for broadcast and online delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience in a studio or agency environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated storytelling, pacing, and visual style.
- Deep understanding of codecs, frame rates, and cross-platform export settings.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure, creative environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to accept and implement creative feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, or equivalent professional experience.
