Job Description
Are you a visionary designer who believes that great products are built at the intersection of aesthetic beauty and functional perfection? Nexus Digital Studio is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design evolution of our flagship SaaS platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex user needs and intuitive, pixel-perfect interfaces that drive global engagement.
We are a remote-first team with a collaborative studio in the heart of San Francisco. You will work alongside world-class engineers and product managers to define the future of digital interaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency across our entire product ecosystem.
- Conduct rigorous usability testing and user interviews to iterate on features based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of design specs.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence and critical feedback.
- Develop high-level user flows that simplify complex workflows for our enterprise clients.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving skills and mastery of visual design.
- Expertise in industry-standard design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Framer or Protopie.
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and interaction design patterns.
- Strong grasp of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/React) to communicate effectively with development teams.
- Proven ability to translate user feedback and analytics into actionable design iterations.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
