NexusScale Systems is seeking a visionary Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to architect, deploy, and scale our next-generation hybrid cloud environment. Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Lead migration projects from legacy on-premise systems to containerized cloud architectures.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive security patches and optimizations.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response for critical infrastructure issues.
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or system architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
- Strong mastery of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking, security protocols, and zero-trust environments.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
