- Oversee end-to-end transportation operations including freight routing, carrier management, and fleet optimization
- Develop and implement cost-effective logistics strategies leveraging AI-powered analytics
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery performance exceeding 98%
- Drive sustainability initiatives through route optimization and alternative fuel adoption
- Manage multimodal transportation networks (rail, road, air) for national distribution
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to enhance visibility and reduce transit times
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in transportation management with 3+ in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in TMS platforms and transportation analytics tools
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and industry compliance standards
- Experience managing multimodal transportation networks in the Midwest region
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) designation required
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
