Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Conduct in-depth analysis of existing transportation networks, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.</li><li>Develop and implement predictive models and simulation tools to forecast demand, evaluate route options, and assess the impact of network changes.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, sales) to gather requirements and integrate analytical solutions.</li><li>Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track network performance and provide regular reports to leadership.</li><li>Research and evaluate new transportation technologies and strategies, recommending scalable solutions.</li><li>Lead projects focused on network restructuring, mode optimization, and carrier performance management.</li><li>Present complex data and analytical findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including senior management.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; Master's preferred.</li><li>5+ years of progressive experience in transportation analytics, logistics, or supply chain optimization.</li><li>Proven expertise with transportation management systems (TMS) and freight management software.</li><li>Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop and apply quantitative models for network design, route optimization, and capacity planning.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li><li>Certification in CSCP, CLTD, or equivalent is a plus.</li></ul>
