Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation networks integrating rail, truck, and last-mile delivery systems
- Lead digital transformation initiatives using IoT and AI for real-time fleet optimization
- Manage $20M+ annual transportation budgets with 15% year-over-year cost reduction targets
- Develop ESG-compliant logistics strategies achieving 30% reduction in carbon emissions
- Oversee vendor management for 50+ transportation partners across 3 states
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in transportation/logistics management with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder)
- Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) or CPIM designation required
- Experience managing multi-state/regional transportation networks
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- MS/MA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- OSHA Hazmat certification and FMCSA compliance knowledge
