- Oversee 50+ carrier relationships and negotiate multi-million dollar contracts
- Design and implement TMS (Transportation Management System) workflows for 200+ daily shipments
- Lead cross-functional teams in reducing freight spend by 15-20% annually
- Develop sustainability programs targeting 30% carbon footprint reduction by 2025
- Manage compliance with FMCSA regulations and DOT safety standards
- Present executive-level dashboards on KPIs: On-Time Delivery, Cost per Mile, and Carrier Performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in transportation management with 3+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in TMS platforms (Blue Yonder, Oracle, or SAP)
- Proven track record in multimodal logistics (rail, truck, air, intermodal)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in freight rate optimization
- CDL-A certification or equivalent transportation credentials
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL for data-driven decisions
