Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation strategies across multi-modal supply chains
- Lead cross-functional teams in optimizing freight routing, carrier negotiations, and warehouse operations
- Develop data-driven solutions using TMS platforms to reduce transportation costs by 15%+
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and international transport regulations
- Manage $50M+ transportation budgets with rigorous cost-benefit analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Oversee risk management protocols for cargo security and climate resilience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business; MBA preferred
- 10+ years progressive experience in transportation management with 5+ years leadership
- Expertise in TMS systems (Manhattan, Blue Yonder) and logistics analytics tools
- Proven success optimizing LTL/FTL operations and multi-modal transportation networks
- Certifications in CSCP, CPIM, or PMP strongly preferred
- Exceptional negotiation skills with major carriers and 3PL providers
- Strong financial acumen for budget management and ROI analysis
