Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation strategies for international freight operations
- Manage relationships with carriers, ports, and customs authorities
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and carbon footprint
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing multimodal transport solutions
- Develop KPIs and reporting systems for transportation performance
- Ensure compliance with EU transportation regulations and safety standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in transportation logistics management
- Proven expertise in multimodal transport (road, rail, sea, air)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in logistics optimization software
- Deep knowledge of EU customs regulations and INCOTERMS
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP, CPIM) preferred
- Fluency in English and Dutch; German beneficial
- Experience managing international teams in high-volume operations
