- Oversee end-to-end transportation operations for 500+ vehicle fleet across 5 states
- Develop and implement AI-driven logistics optimization reducing delivery times by 25%
- Manage $15M annual transportation budget with cost-reduction initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams of dispatchers, drivers, and route planners
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and ELD mandate requirements
- Collaborate with sustainability team to electrify 40% of fleet within 24 months
- Design contingency plans for weather disruptions and supply chain bottlenecks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in transportation/logistics management with fleet optimization experience
- Proven track record reducing operational costs by 15%+ in previous roles
- FMCSA compliance certification and Hazmat endorsement required
- Advanced proficiency in TMS platforms (Manhattan, Oracle, or SAP)
- Strong data analytics skills with experience in route optimization algorithms
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
