Responsibilities
- Optimize multi-modal transportation networks to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and customs brokers
- Implement TMS (Transportation Management System) solutions for real-time tracking
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and international trade regulations
- Analyze KPIs and develop data-driven improvement strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams for high-volume seasonal shipping campaigns
- Drive sustainability initiatives through route optimization and fuel efficiency programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
- 8+ years in transportation management with 3+ years in leadership
- Expertise in TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or comparable)
- Strong knowledge of intermodal, LTL, and FTL operations
- Proven experience in customs brokerage and international shipping
- Certification in CSCP, CTL, or CPIM preferred
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
