Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end transportation operations including LTL, FTL, and intermodal freight management
- Develop and implement strategic transportation budgets, achieving 15% cost reduction targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in route optimization and carrier relationship management
- Ensure 99.5% on-time delivery performance through TMS analytics and predictive modeling
- Drive sustainability initiatives by reducing carbon footprint through modal shifts
- Manage compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and international transport regulations
- Lead digital transformation projects in transportation management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in transportation management with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in TMS platforms (Blue Yonder, SAP TM, or Oracle TMS)
- Proven track record of optimizing multi-modal transportation networks
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- FMCSA certification and knowledge of international transport regulations
- Experience managing 50+ carrier relationships and $50M+ transportation budgets
