Responsibilities
- Lead complex tax engagements, including federal, state, and international tax planning for large corporate entities.
- Manage the end-to-end tax provision process and financial statement disclosures under ASC 740.
- Provide expert technical guidance on M&A tax structuring, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
- Mentor and develop a team of tax associates, fostering an environment of technical rigor and professional growth.
- Drive proactive tax research and develop innovative solutions to address evolving regulatory changes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships through consistent delivery of strategic value.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal and financial planning departments, to ensure comprehensive tax strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is required.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, preferably within a Big 4 or top-tier regional accounting firm.
- Deep technical expertise in US Corporate Income Tax and international tax compliance (Subpart F, BEPS, GILTI).
- Proven track record of managing high-visibility projects and meeting stringent reporting deadlines.
- Strong command of tax software (e.g., ONESOURCE, Corptax) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and staff development.
- Superior communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax concepts to executive stakeholders.
