Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of complex federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns.
- Direct the quarterly and annual tax provision processes under ASC 740.
- Develop and execute innovative tax planning strategies to minimize global tax liability.
- Serve as the primary lead during tax audits and respond to inquiries from government authorities.
- Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on company-wide financial strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax associates, fostering professional growth and high-performance standards.
- Coordinate with legal and finance departments to support M&A activities and corporate restructuring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation (MST) required.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department.
- Expert-level proficiency in ASC 740 and corporate tax software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing cross-functional teams.
