Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive tax strategies for high-net-worth clients and corporate entities.
- Manage end-to-end tax compliance processes, including federal, state, and international filings.
- Lead and mentor a team of senior tax associates to ensure project delivery excellence.
- Monitor legislative changes and provide proactive guidance on tax implications to leadership.
- Represent clients in tax audits and resolve complex disputes with regulatory authorities.
- Optimize tax efficiency through sophisticated structuring and entity planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax considerations into broader financial strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s in Taxation or LLM is highly preferred.
- Current CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments.
- Expert-level knowledge of U.S. Federal and Multi-state tax regulations.
- Proven ability to manage high-stakes client relationships and lead large-scale projects.
- Superior analytical, technical research, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with professional tax software such as CCH Axcess or Thomson Reuters OneSource.
