Responsibilities
- Oversee federal, state, and international tax compliance for multi-jurisdictional entities
- Develop strategic tax savings initiatives through transfer pricing and R&D credits
- Lead tax audits and represent clients before IRS/state authorities
- Mentor junior tax professionals and implement departmental best practices
- Collaborate with CFOs to integrate tax planning into corporate strategy
- Utilize SAP and Oracle tax modules for automation and reporting
Qualifications
- CPA license + 7+ years progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Advanced degree in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance
- Expertise in ASC 740 (FIN 48) and international tax frameworks
- Proven success managing multi-state and cross-border tax projects
- Proficient in tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess)
- Strong analytical skills with Big Four or mid-size firm background
