Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tax compliance for multinational corporations
- Develop innovative tax strategies optimizing global operations
- Manage audits and resolve IRS/State tax authority inquiries
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technical training sessions
- Stay ahead of evolving tax legislation (TCJA, international reforms)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on M&A transactions
- Prepare complex tax returns and supporting documentation
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years of tax advisory experience
- Expertise in corporate tax, international taxation, and state/local taxes
- Proven track record in tax controversy resolution and IRS negotiations
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (Vertex, ONESOURCE, ProSystem)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory details
- MBA or MST preferred from accredited institution
