- Develop and implement tax planning strategies for corporate and individual clients
- Lead IRS audits and state tax controversies with meticulous documentation
- Mentor a team of 3-5 tax professionals through performance reviews and skill development
- Utilize advanced tax software (Vertex, ONESOURCE) for compliance automation
- Advise on M&A transactions and cross-border tax implications
- Prepare complex tax returns and supporting schedules
- Stay current on tax legislation changes through continuous research
Qualifications
- CPA license and 7+ years of progressive tax experience
- Expertise in federal, state, and international tax codes
- Proven track record leading tax audits and controversy resolution
- Advanced proficiency in tax preparation and compliance software
- MBA or MST degree from an accredited institution
- Exceptional communication skills for client presentations
- Experience managing tax teams and budgets
