Responsibilities
- Lead federal, state, and international tax compliance for corporate clients
- Design and implement tax optimization strategies for M&A transactions
- Manage IRS/state tax audits and represent clients before authorities
- Develop transfer pricing methodologies for multinational corporations
- Mentor 5+ tax professionals through structured growth programs
- Drive digital transformation of tax processes using automation tools
- Advise clients on tax implications of ESG initiatives and sustainability reporting
Qualifications
- CPA license with 8+ years tax experience (5+ in management)
- Deep expertise in US tax code and international tax frameworks
- Proven success leading tax audits and controversy resolution
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (Vertex, OnePoint, Avalara)
- JD or MST degree preferred
- Strong technical writing skills for complex tax memos
- Experience with digital tax transformation projects
- Excellent stakeholder management across C-suite levels
