Responsibilities
- Manage complex tax compliance and planning for corporate and individual clients.
- Conduct tax research to ensure adherence to current UK tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review technical tax memorandums and correspondence.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Present tax strategies to clients and internal stakeholders with clarity and precision.
- Assist in external audit preparations and responses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure high retention rates.
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UK Taxation, specifically Corporate Tax and Personal Tax.
- Strong technical knowledge of HMRC regulations and IFRS.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
