Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless movement of goods across the Midwest region.
- Implement lean logistics strategies to minimize operational waste and optimize warehouse throughput.
- Manage key vendor relationships and negotiate service-level agreements to maximize cost-efficiency.
- Analyze complex logistics datasets to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of logistics coordinators and facility supervisors.
- Monitor KPIs related to transit times, inventory accuracy, and regional fulfillment costs.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and trade standards across all distribution sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume supply chain operations or logistics management.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proven track record of streamlining logistics workflows and driving year-over-year cost reductions.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI, or similar visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to foster cross-departmental collaboration.
- APICS or CSCP certification is highly desirable.
