Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce lead times.
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment strategies.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of warehouse supervisors and logistics coordinators to meet safety and productivity goals.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to ensure seamless integration of demand planning and supply availability.
- Negotiate and manage vendor relationships with 3PL providers to optimize costs and service quality.
- Oversee capital expenditure projects for facility upgrades and new technology implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency through automation and data analytics.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing large, multi-site teams.
- Deep understanding of domestic and international freight regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
