Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of end-to-end supply chain operations to meet performance KPIs.
- Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements that drive cost-reduction.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal service levels and pricing.
- Direct cross-functional teams in the coordination of international freight, warehousing, and last-mile distribution.
- Implement advanced inventory management software and supply chain visibility tools to enhance tracking accuracy.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing operations team to ensure talent retention and professional growth.
- Ensure full compliance with local, federal, and international transportation and trade regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and TMS software.
- Strong understanding of global trade compliance, import/export regulations, and customs documentation.
- Proven track record of managing complex supply chain projects with significant budgetary oversight.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.
- Professional certification (APICS/CSCP or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is highly desirable.
