Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies to optimize product flow and inventory turnover.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and warehouse leads.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate freight contracts to optimize shipping costs and service levels.
- Oversee demand planning and forecasting to ensure optimal stock availability across regional distribution centers.
- Ensure full compliance with local and international trade regulations and safety standards.
- Report key performance metrics (KPIs) to executive leadership to guide strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in high-volume supply chain, logistics, or distribution environments.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and supply chain modeling software.
- Deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and execute large-scale capital projects.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- APICS CSCP or CLTD certification is a strong plus.
