Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce lead times.
- Lead and mentor regional operations teams to maintain peak performance and service standards.
- Oversee vendor performance and negotiate strategic procurement contracts to ensure competitive cost structures.
- Implement advanced logistics software and IoT tracking solutions to enhance end-to-end visibility.
- Manage risk mitigation protocols for global supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with finance to manage departmental budgets and capital expenditure projections.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume logistics or distribution environments.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar logistics budgets.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on lean methodology and process improvement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
- APICS or CSCP certification is highly desirable.
