Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business goals to ensure seamless product flow.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to optimize service levels.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of negotiating with external vendors and presenting to senior management.
