Are you a strategic thinker ready to optimize global trade flows? Nexus Global Logistics is seeking a data-driven Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead our Midwest distribution network. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between procurement, logistics, and executive strategy to drive efficiency and scalability.
You will be instrumental in implementing lean methodologies, managing high-stakes vendor relationships, and leveraging advanced analytics to ensure seamless product availability across our North American channels.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies to improve lead times and reduce operational costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to manage inventory levels, demand forecasting, and warehouse throughput.
- Negotiate high-level vendor and 3PL contracts to ensure cost-efficiency and service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable, data-backed solutions.
- Oversee compliance with international trade regulations and safety standards.
- Mentor junior logistics coordinators and foster a culture of continuous process improvement.
- Manage the annual supply chain budget, ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within a fast-paced logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Deep proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Proven track record of managing complex distribution networks and cross-border operations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to manage high-performing, dispersed teams.
- APICS (CSCP) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
