Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire supply chain lifecycle, from procurement to final delivery, ensuring optimal inventory levels and cost-efficiency.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to negotiate favorable contracts and service levels.
- Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify trends, forecast demand, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Lead a team of logistics coordinators, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics operations, preferably in a senior capacity.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification in APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or CSCP is highly preferred.
