Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, including planning, execution, and monitoring of shipments.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to negotiate rates and secure capacity.
- Analyze shipping data and KPIs to identify trends, optimize routes, and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure full compliance with international customs regulations, trade laws, and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all freight and supply chain activities.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance supply chain resilience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive problem-solver with a high level of attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits or industry conferences.
