Responsibilities
- Oversee End-to-End Logistics: Manage the full lifecycle of supply chain operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and final mile distribution.
- Optimize Routes & Costs: Analyze shipping data and carrier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize shipping routes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal departments and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure seamless communication.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all shipping documentation (bills of lading, certificates of origin, customs forms) is accurate and compliant with international regulations.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve supply chain disruptions, including delays or inventory shortages, with minimal impact on delivery schedules.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers to secure the best terms for the company.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or freight forwarding.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of troubleshooting complex logistical issues.
